The Simplex Rugged Fiber Pigtail is a 5-foot long, 2mm diameter, simplex single mode 9/125/900μm tight-buffered optical fiber. The SC connector with APC polished end is pre-installed on one end with 18 inches of blue buffer fiber on the other. The end of the pigtail is ready to be stripped and fused or mechanically spliced to a single fiber of a multi-fiber trunk in half the time of traditional pigtail designs. The LSZH jacket is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
