Fiber Slim Pigtail

The Fiber Slim Pigtail is a 3-meter long, 3mm diameter, 12-fiber pack of singlemode 9/125/250μm tight-buffered optical fiber. LC connectors with APC polished ends are pre-installed on one end with 900µm buffer tubes and three feet of exposed fiber is contained in a spiral wrap at the other end. The end of the pigtail is ready to be stripped and fusion or mechanically spliced to a single fiber of a multi-fiber trunk in half the time of traditional pigtail designs.

This patent pending pigtail is designed for high fiber count splicing applications or where space is at a premium. The individual fibers are color coded to TIA-598-A industry standards for ease of use (blue, orange, green, brown, slate, white, red, black, yellow, violet, rose, aqua).
